Golf Clubs

Make every golf club your favorite

By Timothy Gorman

How would you like to: Have every club unload at the same point at the bottom of the swing Lower score and play the best golf of your life! Hit the ball straighter Have every club feel the same Keep your mis-hits in play Have better ball flight trajectory Hit more fairways Hit more greens in regulation

Golfers, guess what? It's the Shaft!!!!

Our primary goal is customer satisfaction. We use only the highest quality, field proven components. All procedures, including component selection, manufacturing processes, customer testing, delivery, and follow-up, are closely monitored to be sure the final product meets or exceeds each customers expectation.

Single Flex Matching Technology provides golfers with remarkable value that is unmatched within the industry. Eagle Flight Golf Custom Fitting Centers are assisting their golf community by making available a technology that is changing the golfing industry. Once a golfer experiences Single Flex Matching Technology, several exciting events immediately unfold. Be aware that we are talking about the time it takes a golfer to hit one shot. From the first time a club of the correct frequency (stiffness) is used, the golfer's shot making instantly improves, without swing changes. In most all cases, the golfer gains additional distance and experiences better misses. The feel is softer and shaft vibrations are reduced. The golfer is standing there saying, what is this? Where has this been? This is unbelievable! The golfer gains newfound confidence in his/her game and is excited about the prospect of better shots and lower scores.

Technology During the past 30 years, engineering in component technology has made tremendous advancements. Clubhead design and alloy composition continue to offer significant new component alternatives. The same is true in shaft technologies. Space age technologies have created lighter shafts, more consistent torque, and better performance.

The one area, however, that remains basically the same is the actual golf club manufacturing process. The particular method used in final component assembly contributes to wide variances in shaft stiffness throughout each set of clubs produced. In most cases, the golf consumer is unaware of this and his/her game suffers. Eagle Flight Golf was formed to address this issue. The foundation of Eagle Flight Golf is Single Flex Matching. Single Flex Matching is a highly specialized golf club manufacturing process that individually builds every club in a set to the golfer's ideal shaft frequency (stiffness). This is not a gimmick or a fad. It is proven to be reliable and dependable. Every golfer, regardless of skill level, should be made aware of Single Flex Matching.

Our team of professionals is uniquely positioned to make this technology available to the golf community. Our areas of focus are:

The Shaft Frequency Analyzer The frequency analyzer counts the cycles per minute of shaft vibration. The vibrations read by an electronic eye and a stiffness number is automatically computed by an internal microprocessor. The digital readout number represents the stiffness of the golf club(s). The recommendation is to test 4 customer clubs (9, 7, 5 and 3 irons, in that order). Document each club readout number on the Shaft Analysis Request Form. Be sure to inform the golfer what the readout number represents in traditional shaft stiffness.

Are Golf Clubs Really Matched? As a policy, Eagle Flight Golf is not attempting to discredit or harm any manufacturer, supplier, or end-user of golf clubs. We are simply discussing facts as related to hundreds of cases of golf clubs representing ALL manufacturers. The issue we are addressing is universal.

Most of us are unaware that more than 95% of all golfers presently own a set of clubs that vary widely in their shaft stiffness. Our experience shows the traditional 9 iron stiffness ranges from 2X to 6X. Considering the baseline stiffness of the 9 iron, each given club in a set becomes weaker or less stiff. This situation causes the golfer to experience different performance characteristics and feel throughout the set. In simple terms, the shafts of the golfer's clubs do not match their individual golf swing.

Golfer Shot Pattern - The ideal shaft stiffness for each golfer is like a fingerprint. It is his identity. The correct shaft produces more distance and better accuracy without changing the swing.

Loft / Lie In addition to building every shaft in a set of clubs to the golfers individual frequency, Eagle Flight Golf also performs loft and lie adjustments. The correct loft and lie enhance the proper shaft frequency. The correct clubhead lie utilizes the whole clubhead rather than a small portion of the heel or toe. The correct loft is important for distance control for golfers hitting shots at varying heights. Prior to submitting a customer order to Eagle Flight Golf, have the customer make several swings with different clubs hitting a loft lie board.

Grip Sizing A proper grip size is also very important to the golfer's satisfaction. Ask the golfer to make a selection from the sample grip display.
